When I was invited to a tour stop near my house for Mrs. Freshley’s, I was excited! My husband and my dad are big snackers. It was the weekend before hunting season started and I wanted to provide them with snacks they could enjoy for the next six to eight weeks.
Early Saturday morning, I headed over to the tour stop – a Valero gas station less than five minutes from home – and met with the ladies handing out samples. I tried a Donut Stick. It was good, tasted just like a cake donut. We chatted about where you could find Mrs. Freshley’s (in San Antonio, they can be found at Valero, Dollar Tree, ALCO, Family Dollar and Save-a-Lot) and then they gave me a reusable bag full of goodies!
Since I visited the Mrs. Freshley’s tour, deer season has started. Hubs and dad have taken the boxes of snacks with them to the lease. They are enjoying the snacks!
My favorite of all the varieties are the chocolate cupcakes!
