Last Wednesday I went to check out Mia’s Mirror by H-E-B. I was a little nervous because Mia’s Mirror is not located in the H-E-B where I do my regular shopping. When I walked into H-E-B, I thought Mia’s Mirror would be located at the front of the store (kind of up by the restrooms), but it was on the far wall in the middle of the store.
Mia’s Mirror is an escape – a store within a store – that allows women to spend some time (and hopefully, money) on themselves before shopping for groceries.
When you walk into the calming blue space, you’ll notice that the aisles are larger than the ‘norm’ – they allow plenty of space for grocery carts and strollers. There is nice music playing and bright lights (everything sparkles really well under them!).
Everything is organized by theme. Each table has a plaque describing the theme and suggesting a key piece to purchase. You’ll find rings, earrings and necklaces on top of each table. Under the tables, you’ll find purses, shoes, wine glasses, and other accessories. The price point in the store is just right – pieces start at $3 and go up. I could spend a good amount of time browsing around Mia’s Mirror! Mia’s Mirror has a really great selection! It’s hard to go in and pick up just ONE piece.
Does Mia’s Mirror sound intriguing to you? Would you shop there?
Currently you can only find Mia’s Mirror in the H-E-B Plus at 281 & Evans Rd. However, I’ve heard they are looking at adding two more soon!
I love the feather & the beetle rings!
**Full Disclosure: I attended a meet and greet at Mia’s Mirror and received some swag at no cost to me. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sounds like an interesting place to visit in a grocery store! I wish a whole grocery store was calming instead of bright and commercial… it may actually make me spend more time and money in there… Hey I found an idea for us to make millions!

As of now, there are no plans to take Mia’s Mirror online, but if they grow large enough, they may branch out in that direction.

How can you apply for a job?
Sara Phillips says
I am not 100% certain, but I would imagine you could go in to the store and apply?
