Once upon a time I was really great about posting my weekly menu, and now I just make my dinner menu on a piece of paper. I list the dinner for each day of the week on one side and list everything I need to purchase on the other side. Having a dinner menu makes the food part of my life super simple! Lately, though, I have been hitting a wall. I am tired of making the same 12-15 things over and over.
But this morning, I came across a Facebook post about eMeals.com and I was intrigued!
Signing up for eMeals.com was beyond easy!! Select the number of people you are feeding, your “food style” (ie: Classic, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, etc) and where you shop. Then enter a username, password and email address. That’s it! Your meal plan will be ready shortly after you sign up. Mine was there almost immediately.
My meal plan says it will be posted and delivered to my inbox on Wednesdays. This isn’t ideal, as I grocery shop on Sunday or Monday. But, if I use the menu from the week before, it should work.
The meal plan is incredibly easy to read. The main dish is in bold print and the side(s) are in italics. It also says what you will need for the meal and how to make it. My family and I are pretty picky so I can see changing things up a bit. For example, the first dinner on my meal plan is Southern Chicken Pot Pie and Simple Slaw. The entree sounds delicious (right?!) but we won’t eat slaw so I will probably substitute it for a regular side salad. At the end of the meal plan, there is a grocery list divided out by where you will find what you need in the store.
I would like to see a check box option for the “food style” choices so that you could choose more than one. It would be great to blend the different menus – even if it was a weekly rotation. I don’t like that I am limited with only ONE food style. (You can go in and change your selection, but then you’ll have to remember to change it back before you get your next menu.)
BUY IT! Sign up for eMeals.com now! You can get 12 months of dinner meals for $58 (or 6 months for $35 or 3 months for $21). AND, use the discount code newyear to save 15% off your eMeals subscription!
If you are a blogger and would like to join the eMeals.com blogger network, sign up here. (And if you want to say that Sara Phillips from SensiblySara.com sent you, that would be great! It just gives me an extra entry in a giveaway.)
Do you think you would use eMeals.com to help with your meal planning??
**Full Disclosure: I received a one year dinner menu membership in exchange for my review. There is an affiliate link in this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love using e-meals! I am so glad they have health menus too! I so totally do NOT have time to menu plan and write out a grocery list LOL
