I didn’t think wall decals would work in our house because we have ‘popcorn’ walls and ceilings. I decided that if the Fathead wall decals didn’t work on my walls, I’d put them on doors and went for it! Picking which Fathead wall decals I wanted was more difficult than I expected but the check out process was simple.
I had my wall decals (Zurich Monogram, Weekly Dry-Erase Striped Calendar, Handwritten ‘Kiss the Cook’ and ‘Family’) about a week after I ordered them. They came in a sturdy cardboard tube. It was easy to cut the tape and open the tube for access to the wall decals.
I wanted to put the ‘Kiss the Cook’ Fathead in my kitchen but I didn’t pay attention to the size when I ordered and it doesn’t fit any wall space I have available. Instead, I put the Zurich Monogram on the pantry door! I love it but I struggled to put it up on my own. As you can see, it’s a little too wide but I’ll wrap those pieces around the edge of the door. I’m not sure I could have gotten it perfectly placed with help either, though.
I gave my sister the calendar and she stuck it on the dining room wall by the homework station! The calendar was SO easy to apply. We peeled it from the paper backing and stuck it to the wall. She found a dry erase marker and started filling in the dates!
My mom is the proud recipient of the ‘Family’ Fathead and she is planning on putting it in the center of her family photos in the hall. I’m sure my husband and I will put it up next time we visit.
