My family and I would never eat if it weren’t for simple recipes which is why I tend stick with meals that take under 30 minutes to create. I can make every day delicious with Kraft which means there are no complaints at our dinner table!
Tuesdays are for tacos at our house and Kraft’s Taco Bake is a family favorite! The simple recipe is full of flavor and so easy to throw together.

1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup BREAKSTONE’S Sour Cream
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
3/4 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare Macaroni & Cheese Dinner as directed on the package.
- While that’s cooking, brown hamburger meat with taco seasoning as directed on package.
- Stir sour cream into prepared Macaroni & Cheese Dinner.
- Spray an 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spoon half the noodle mixture into baking dish.
- Top with layers of meat mixture, 1 cup shredded cheese and remaining Dinner mixture; cover.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Top with salsa and remaining shredded cheese. (I mixed the salsa into the meat so my kids couldn’t complain!)
- Bake, uncovered, for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Dish up dinner while it’s hot so you can enjoy your meal and your family!
Kraft Taco Bake never fails my family’s taste buds! They love how delicious it is and I love that I can serve a family meal in under 30 minutes. This would be an easy dish to make for a crowd, too! Just double (or triple) the recipe to feed a group.

Yes, that would be a huge hit! I love dishes that don’t take all day to prepare. Who has time for that? This one seems like it’s easy enough for a weeknight, plus it looks extra yummy.

A great thing about casseroles is that they are a good way to clear the cupboard of things that have been in there a while. A cab of corn or even peas would work in this recipe.
