Did you know that kids (ok, well all people) have different learning styles? I learned all about it in college years ago but it’s also something I try to remember and embrace with my kiddos. I know my kids and I listen to their words & body language. I really didn’t think I needed this book, “A Parent’s Playbook for Learning” but after reading it, I’ve RElearned so much about learning styles!
Check out how Kidzmet works:
There are 8 types of learners. James is an Extraverted Sensor (Perceiver). I definitely think knowing what learning style your kiddo is helps them at home as well as at school because you can help them excel and develop confidence in their learning and study strengths.
Find out what kind of learners you have with this free Kidzmet quiz!
After you take the 20 minute online quiz, you can email your child’s teacher the results. Kidzmet will provide you with a guide so you know how to best teach your kiddo. (I love that!) The book covers every possible thing you need to know about each learning style – for example: “The most important part is to allow for the dialogue that allows your child to both construct and reconstruct his understanding of the material.” Now, I know that James needs to do this, but reading it in ‘A Parent’s Playbook for Learning’ made me REALLY think about WHY he needs to do this – and now I try not to let it bug me as much!
There is just so much you can learn about your child – the Kidzmet quiz and ‘A Parent’s Playbook for Learning’ are BOTH tools I’d recommend to any parent!

This is such a neat tool! I try to pay very close attention to my kids and figure out what kind of learners they are, but this sounds so much easier and will put my mind at ease.
Thank you!
