I’m not much of a jewelry girl. I’d like to be, though, so I have been trying wear simple pieces a little more often. JORD Wood Watches asked if I’d do a review and share my thoughts with you all. Their watches are beautiful and I knew it’d be a great way to ease myself into wearing a watch so I couldn’t say no!
Each JORD Wood Watch can be sized to fit your wrist perfectly. I have fat wrists so I ordered an 8″ Cora Koa & Rose Gold watch. As soon as I opened the package, I knew I would love the watch! It came beautifully packaged in a maple box. Inside, the watch was wrapped around a tiny pillow so as to keep it from moving during shipping.
The Cora series runs about $275 and comes in four different woods and five different faces. I chose the Koa & Rose Gold because I thought it would coordinate best with my wardrobe.
I had a difficult time setting the time because the crown sits so close to the wood. Other than that, the watch was flawless. On the face you get a sneak peek of the watch ‘guts’ and when you flip it over you’ll see even more! I think that’s probably one of the coolest features of JORD Wood Watches!
The Cora is a self-winding watch and doesn’t require a battery. It has Swarovski crystal markers and is made of Koa wood. The Koa is hand finished and pre-treated with tung oils. The watch is splash proof but should not be submerged in water. If you need to clean it, lemon or orange oil extract is best.
When storing JORD Wood Watches, avoid extreme hot or cold and excessively dry/humid environments. Their watches have a 1 year limited warranty.
I adore my hand-crafted JORD wood watch and wear it nearly every day! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been complimented on it.
I really like the Cora and Rose gold but I think my favorite is the lighter one, it’s the Sidney Maple and Rose. My son got a Fieldcrest one and loved it. He proudly shows it off to everyone and uses it for work every day.
I love Jord Watches. I got one last year, but my husband stole it – can you believe that? It was a little big on me, so I SUPPOSE it was ok 😉
That is really pretty and unique. I love the rose gold so versatile goes with both silver and gold jewelry.
What a gorgeous watch! I am kind of a girly girl when it comes to accessories, so I love how the face glams up the watch.
JORD makes such beautiful and unique watches! I would love to own several lol. I love the Koa and Rose gold as well as the Purple Heart and Mother of Pearl or the Maple and Lavender in the Cora collection or the Red Sandalwood in the Fieldcrest collection. So gorgeous!
Tim has a Jord watch and we both love it. These watches are light as air and such great quality. I’m considering buying one for my Dad this Christmas. Love these watches. Love them!
