**Full Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Jif. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches are my favorite – but they weren’t always. When I was a kid, I didn’t enjoy them because the jelly would soak into the bread and make it soggy. After I got pregnant with James, though, I craved them. My kids and I eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at least twice a week now. They are just so easy to make and yummy to eat!
Now through November 8th, Jif Peanut Butter is running their Most Creative Sandwich Contest – challenging families across the country to create an original sandwich recipe that includes two tablespoons of your favorite Jif products! Parents and children with 6-12 can submit their original sandwich for a chance to win a $25,000 college fund and a trip to New York City!
The Peanut Butter Rolls Sushi Style were one of the finalists from last year! They look delicious, don’t they?!
James, Colin and I are still working on our entry. But you can bet we will be entering! Make sure you read the rules and enter before November 8th! Good luck!
Those do look delicious! I hope at the end of the contest you can click on the submissions so I can jot down some new recipes!
Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with. I’m not THAT creative so I won’t be entering but I will definitely enjoy looking at everyone’s creations and saving some to make later.
David LOVES PB&J. We use JIF in our house too.
Jif is the only kinda pb I will eat! Soooo good!
I’m such a Jif snob! I can’t use any other kind of pb!
The picture is peanut butter and jelly? It doesn’t look like it.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
It’s always nice to find a new spin on an old favorite. I would never have thought of PB&J sushi but it looks good.
Good Luck!!
How fun. What a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen.
I like the PB sushi rolls.
Yum. What a fun contest. If only my kids were younger, it would be fun to enter. Especially since my daughter LOVES Jif!
They really do look I wish someone would make me a few for lunch today. :)!
looks great
I’m thinking, I’m thinking – geez what really would beat a plain old peanut butter and jelly sandwich? 3 more days…
Thanks for sharing!!!
