Can you believe I’ve never been to a blogging conference in my {almost} two years of blogging?! It’s not that I haven’t wanted to – I HAVE! – but they’ve never been at an ideal place (or time).
Wouldn’t it be rather perfect for my first conference also be their first?! I would absolutely love to attend the very first #LuvSoFab #SoFabCon!

Social Fabric gave me my first paying gig as a blogger – I spent that money to move to a self-hosted site! They’ve also provided valuable lessons in how to share my story through words and pictures. I want to continue to grow as a person and as a blogger. I believe attending this conference will allow me to grow my blog in a ways I can’t even imagine right now! I know I’ll come home better able to take pictures for everyone to enjoy.
#SoFabCon’s list of sessions includes photography and SEO – two things I would really like to learn more about! I already have a passion for photography and a pretty decent camera, but I don’t know everything there is to know about how to use my camera. There are settings I just don’t understand and it holds me back! SEO is something I fail at. I just do not understand it. I would learn all about SEO at the conference and be a better blogger because of it.
I relish in the connections I’ve made with other bloggers through our online communities, and I’d love to meet (some of) these ladies and gentlemen in real life! Meeting with like-minded people is never a bad thing, is it?!
Hopefully, I am off to the #SoFabCon and I’ll be back with awesome stories, better understanding, and fabulous new friends! Wish me luck!!
