Gum for teenagers?! I don’t think so!
James recently started chewing his fingers (it’s a disgusting nervous habit), so I offer gum as a distraction. It works. I am happy, he is happy. And while I am not much of a gum-chewer, I carry it in my purse so I have it for him. His favorite is Peppermint!

I have’nt heard of ID gum but will be on the lookout for it. My oldest daughter licks her lips a lot so I’m hoping when I can safely trust her with gum, this might divert her attention elsewhere.
