Date night doesn’t happen nearly often enough for my liking, but my husband and I were able to take some time for ourselves and enjoy a meal at Houlihan’s. I’d never eaten there before but the food was phenomenal!
We started with Soft Bavarian Pretzel Sticks – those babies will not disappoint! They are fresh, soft and paired perfectly with a beer-cheese dip.
Then we ordered our entrées – Chicken Caesar Salad and Stuffed Chicken Breast. The Caesar salad was very tasty – and served with warm polenta croutons that were amazing! The salad was served with strips of nicely seasoned grilled chicken. My husband said his stuffed chicken was delicious. I tasted it and he was right! The spices and herbs in the dish were complimented the chicken perfectly.
I was far too full to eat dessert, so I ordered it to go. The Chocolate Mousse was everything I thought it was going to be – sweet & savory and served in this oh-so-cute glass mason jar!
Houlihan’s Restaurants New Menu Options:
- Each craveable lighter fare item is less than 590 calories and is prepared with fresh and nutritive ingredients.
- The lighter fare menu is only available for a limited time.
Everything on the lighter fare menu looked appetizing, but we were on a date so I was open to anything on the menu. I ordered dessert from the under 600 calorie menu, though!
We splurged on appetizers and dessert, so the hubs and I spent more than we normally would on a date night but it was a blast! Taking time out for us was just what I needed!
