**Full Disclosure: I participated in an In-Home Party Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home. I received product samples to facilitate this post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
At the start of the year, our Sunday school class puts out a breakfast sign-up sheet. Whoever signs up brings breakfast to feed everyone. Our ‘starving’ kids eat the leftovers (if there are any!) when they are released from their own classes. Our Sunday school class is the best – they are like family and everyone in there is special to me! For those reasons, I want to treat them to delicious breakfasts every time it’s my turn to bring something.
About Honey Bunches of Oats Bake At Home Granola Snackers:
New Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers provide a semi-homemade option for busy families looking for a wholesome snack or on-the-go breakfast alternative. Made with whole grain rolled oats, crisp rice and wildflower honey, each serving provides at least 11 grams of whole grain.
Honey Bunches of Oats sent me a large box full of supplies to have a party! There were aprons, chef hats, oven mitts, platters, muffin pans and, of course, the three flavors of Honey Bunches of Oats Bake At Home Granola Snackers. Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers come in three flavors – Honey Oat, Chocolate Chip and Cranberry Vanilla.
February 8th was my day for breakfast, so I got up a little earlier than usual and set to work. I pulled my cooking spray and brown sugar out of the pantry, grabbed two glasses (one shot glass, one kids cup) from the cupboard and got my mixing bowl and muffin pans out. (Because I wanted to have enough for everyone, I used my mini muffin pans – but I only have two – so I used one regular muffin pan.) The Honey Bunches of Oats Bake At Home kit contained everything else I needed.
The baking process was beyond simple: measure, melt, mix and bake! Colin wanted to help, but he didn’t get in the kitchen quick enough. After I baked all three boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats Bake At Home Granola Snackers, I let the muffin pans cool and then stacked them so they could be easily transported (along with my Island Punch) to church. I got everything set up and waited for our class to arrive.
A few things I learned and would recommend to make the Honey Bunches of Oats Bake At Home Granola Snackers a success: 1) Spray your muffin pans really well before you add the granola mixture, 2) Really mush the granola into the pan – I started out just barely pressing it and they crumbled, 3) Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before popping them out of the muffin pan. The warmer they are, the more likely they’ll crumble.
Breakfast was a HUGE hit!
All three flavors were delicious – but the Honey Oat and the Chocolate Chip were the favorites. My husband – and several of our classmates – went back for seconds and thirds!
I would make the Honey Bunches of Oats Bake at Home Granola Snackers on a Sunday and let my kids have them for grab-n-go breakfast mornings or for after-school snacks.
