They say ‘Everything is bigger {and better!} in Texas’ and for the most part, that’s a very true statement! The fields of wildflowers and all the products that are made right here are just a few examples. I was lucky enough to grow up in Texas with the ‘Don’t Mess with Texas’ slogan, cowboy hats, cowboy boots, the love of Friday night football, chili without beans, Texas bar-b-que, sweet tea, the term ‘y’all’, tacos for breakfast and a famous orange restaurant chain. That chain has amazing breakfast sandwiches, but at $4 a piece, it can really add up! I decided I wanted to make homemade breakfast sandwiches with LoneStar Eggs because it would save me a nice chunk of money.
Not only are these homemade breakfast sandwiches easy to make but they are delicious, too! I made them for dinner a few nights ago and they were very well-liked. Because the sandwich is filling, my kids and I could only eat one each. My husband had two, though.

I make my kids breakfast sandwiches a lot. They are so easy to whip up in the morning and I know they will keep the kids full until lunchtime at school.
