Hair cuts are one of those tedious preparations because you can sit in the waiting area for up to 30 minutes. But by using Great Clips and their ‘check in online’ feature, we can spend the least amount of time getting hair cuts and then we can get back to enjoying our summer fun – every last minute of it!
Here’s how easy it is:
1. Go to Great Clips, find your store and click ‘check in.’
2. Enter a name and phone number for the person getting a hair cut.
3. Get your hair cut at Great Clips.
4. Pay and go enjoy #moreminutes!
It really is that easy. I wasn’t 100% happy with James’ hair cut – but that’s his fault (and mine), not the stylist’s fault.
We checked in online and it showed there was no wait. So when we arrived at the location, James was put in a chair right away. Colin decided he needed a hair cut, too, but he had to wait about 5 minutes as the second stylist was working on another hair cut.
After our appointment(s), we headed out for lunch. Then we went home to play a few board games before it was time to make dinner.

Your boys look adorable after their cuts! I really love how easy it is to check in on the app and then be able to walk right in. It really saves us moms from having to wait in the waiting area with the kiddos.
We don’t have Great Clips around here, but I am hoping this idea catches on and our local hair dresser gets an awesome app like this.

My son and husband both go to Great Clips & they always check in on the phone first! There’s one RIGHT by our house so they always check the wait times first, too. It’s so convenient!
