My kids love to play with all kinds of fun toys.  They really aren’t very picky about what you give them, they love it all.  This review was supposed to be up a few months ago, but I kept pushing it back because my boys got SO.MUCH.STUFF for Christmas.  However, Friday night was (what we call) the first official day of Spring Break, so I pulled out the Glow Crazy Distance Doodler for something new and exciting!  The boys love this thing!

About:

The Glow Crazy™ Distance Doodler™ light pen uses safe laser-light technology and special glow canvases to allow kids to draw, write and play games in the dark from up to 15 feet away.  Stick the removable glow clings to ceilings and walls or decorate your child’s room with custom cut-out shapes, then doodle from a distance with the laser beam.  Or use the wide beam to design up close and create fun silhouettes.  Includes an illuminating light brush attachment to create brilliant strokes of light, glow-in-the-dark sparkles and more.  Kids can also put on light shows for their friends and family, and use the included stencils to create cool glow scenes.  (Appropriate for ages 6 and up).

What I Like: 

  • I like that the Glow Crazy Distance Doodler allows my kids to use their imaginations for HOURS!
  • You can draw on the Glow Cling from over 10 feet away!  (My kids like to be closer so that the image stays longer.)
  • The Cling paper has an adhesive backing that you can apply to smooth surfaces.  I haven’t tried to peel it off the door, but it was super easy to put on.
  • The light brush attachment is super fun!  The kids love to “paint” with light!

What I’d Change: 

  • I’d include 2 pens in each package.
  • I need to figure out where to store the pen so my boys don’t lose it.
