I have messy kids. Who doesn’t, right? But with carpet in our dining room, our messes seem to spread farther and never end. Cleaning at least once a week wasn’t even touching the disaster that lives under my table. I can vacuum and less than five seconds later find crumbs again. That’s why putting the Eureka Suction Seal 2.0 to the test was an exciting thought!
The Eureka Suction Seal 2.0 vacuum is a featured product at Walmart during the month of November and is on Rollback from $148.88 to $129. Now that’s a good deal, am I right?! The vacuum has plates that raise and lower against the surface maintaining suction and seal without scattering debris and it uses a wide tube of air with minimal bends and twists that allows air to move freely across a shorter and more direct path. I couldn’t pass it up so I purchased the vacuum last Friday and immediately brought it home to test it out.
My husband put the Suction Seal 2.0 vacuum together for me in under 5 minutes.
Colin had pretzels for snack yesterday and dropped many crumbs (well, and full pieces!) on the floor. I can’t believe I’m showing you the mess under Colin’s chair, but here are the before and after photos:
There are plenty of stains on the carpet, but all of the things that should have come up did! I’m really impressed with the Suction Seal! Like it promises, the vacuum didn’t loose suction once.
This 30-second video will show you how well the vacuum works:
Tip: Pull a plastic grocery bag up around the bottom of the canister. Push the ‘open’ button from outside of the bag. Remove the canister. Repeat as needed. I’ll help keep the dust and dirt off your floors!
The Eureka Suction Seal 2.0 is lightweight (only about 17 pounds), has a 27 foot cord and comes with a limited 3 year warranty.
What kind of messes would you clean up with the Eureka Suction Seal 2.0?

I love the bagless part, and emptying it into a plastic bag is an awesome idea.
Stephanie says
Sounds like it’s a great vacuum. Which with little ones I think it’s important to have a good one.

I have to vacuum EVERY day or my home would be crazy messy! I would use this to clean up all those messes that other vacuums cannot get to!
Sara Phillips says
Are you telling me I am slacking?! 😉 (I probably am!)
Crystal says
I would get all of the dog fur off the floor with it. I can’t handle the shedding!
Liz Mays says
I have a similar Eureka vacuum which I absolutely LOVE. I also should have taken your advice about an hour ago when I dumped my canister and got poofs of dust in the face the entire time.
Sara Phillips says
That’s exactly why I started dumping my canister in a bag!
Crystal says
Your Eureka did a great job! I’ve always loved Eureka vacuums. I had one prior to the one I have now and I can definitely tell a difference. With 3 kids, though, a vacuum really doesn’t stand a chance around here.

When I told my husband I was buying this one, he groaned. But I LOVE it. I can’t imagine going back to the brand I had before.
Lynsey @MoscatoMom says
That is a great price! I remember having to spend a FORTUNE to get a great vacuum. And with all of the pet hair we have around here… we blow through them pretty quickly LOL
Jennifer H says
We love our eureka. It gets the job done! And yes, bagless vacuums are awesome!

The Eureka Seal 2.0 looks like a great vacuum. I love that it’s bagless!

I am so jealous! I had a Eureka once and it was seriously the best vacuum ever. I would vacuum up dog hair of course!
Melissa says
What a great price! I’ve been looking for a good vacuum for our basement.
Stephanie says
What I would clean up:) glitter, lots of glitter…left over from Halloween sewing projects and the glitter to come from the Christmas decor. 🙂

I’ve been wanting to try the Eureka Suction Seal vacuum, thanks for the review.

November is the time to buy – especially since you’ll save a little money!

This vacuum looks like it really sucks… and that is a good thing! I’ve had good luck with this brand in the past.
Amy @GrinningCheektoCheek says
Looks like it does the job! We always empty our bagless into a plastic bag, too – so it doesn’t fly all over the place.
HilLesha says
I’m the market for a new vacuum. This one sounds wonderful! I love the price, too.
Tina Konegan says
I will be cleaning up pine needles from putting up the Christmas Tree
Jodi Brown says
Wow! That did a great job! I could definitely use one of these in my house! We’ve been tracking in leaves and all kinds of crud, so this would really help in our entryway.
Sue B. says
Wait, you have carpet in your dining room? And kids? And the carpet is white? I think you should change your blog name from “Sensibly Sara” to “I-Like-to-Live-Dangerously Sara.” And here I was thinking that my life was woefully hard because I have to constantly vacuum up pet hair dust bunnies off my hardwood floors.
I wouldn’t mind borrowing that vacuum cleaner right now. I am house/pet sitting and have no idea where their vacuum cleaner is. I really want to clean up all the fall debris the animals have been tracking in. The owners come back tomorrow and I am hoping to have the house clean and welcoming for them.
Sara Phillips says
haha! Unfortunately, the carpet was that color and already in the dining room when we moved in. If only I could change it!
