Game nights with friends are few and far between these days and someone needed to do something about it. That someone was me. I asked a friend if she & her family wanted to have a game night and of course she said yes! After a delicious dinner, we busted out the games. We played many, but FUNNY OR DIE was first on our list.
Let me tell you a little about it:
About:
Hasbro is joining forces with Funny or Die, the popular comedy video website, to bring you the ultimate in caption craziness with the FUNNY OR DIE game. Try to one-up your friends by matching outrageous photos and captions to create the best laugh-out-loud combo. Everybody votes on which is the funniest and which one must ‘die.’ Players earn money for having the funniest pair and the player with the most cast at the end of the game wins. With hundreds of hilarious pictures and captions, the FUNNY OR DIE game will have players laughing until the very end.
3-6 players, ages 13+
What We Thought:
- The directions are very comical! Deciding who gets to go first ‘because I said so’ was fun!
- It’s an easy game to understand – but definitely stick with the 13+ age recommendation! Some of those cards gross ME out.
- We played with 4 people, but 6 would probably be even better!
- I would suggest playing a few rounds to get the hang of it before playing ‘for real.’
- I wish there were less fill-in-the-blank caption cards.
All-in-all, FUNNY OR DIE is a fun game that I’d suggest for game night!
