I enjoy Chinese food but when I go to a restaurant or order take-out, it’s often pretty expensive. For me, making Chinese food at home isn’t much of an option because I would butcher the meal! Thankfully, Tai Pei single serve entrées are available in the freezer section of my grocery store. I can have yummy, reasonably priced Chinese food anytime I want in less than five minutes!
Tai Pei products have been around for over 20 years, they are chef-created, restaurant-inspired cuisine and offer flavorful authentic food in each box.
I adore the take-out box packaging on its own, but it also doubles as the heating container which makes it ten times better! When I pull a Tai Pei entrée out for lunch, I have to make two because Colin eats most of one by himself!
Tai Pei entrées come in 12 varities: Beef & Broccoli, Bourbon Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Combination Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, Orange Chicken, Pepper Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Sweet Teriyaki Chicken. The entrées are available in both single-serve entrées and single-serve appetizers and multi serve appetizers.
I am partial to the Chicken Chow Mein and the Chicken Fried Rice, but Beef & Broccoli, General Tso’s Chicken, Orange Chicken and Pepper Beef are also big hits around my house!
I may or may not have learned this firsthand, but make sure you read the directions before you unwrap the take-out container! Some of the packages need to be made with the plastic wrapper and others do not.
In addition to the regular line of Tai Pei products, there is a new line called Tai Pei Asian Garden™. Available in Hunan Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Fried Rice, Spicy General Tso’s Chicken, Ginger Chicken, Glazed Chicken Potstickers, Mango Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken, these eight products are low in calories, fat and sodium but high in fiber and protein.
Each entrée contains around 300 calories, 8 grams of fat or less, and real ingredients including lean meats, crispy vegetables, brown rice and whole grain noodles. I feel comfortable eating Tai Pei frozen entrées as a lunch (or dinner) option!
Good Fortune in Every Box™, don’t you think?!

I think I would most enjoy the Chicken Chow Mein. This looks pretty good and a decent dinner alternative if there’s no time to cook.

These are very good Single Serve entrees that I eat all the time. I get coupons for these and think that they are a good bargain.

Sweet and Sour Chicken is my absolute favorite! My SIL would love this since she hates cooking from scratch.

I love spring rolls and would love to see how theirs are. The Bourbon Chicken sounds interesting. If they taste good, I think I would try them for convenience. Looks so easy and the containers are cute!

We have the orange chicken one in our freezer at all times because it’s our daughter’s favorite quick meal. Paired with a salad and it’s easy and filling for when we don’t have a lot of time between activities.

I like the chicken fried rice and think the boxes are adorable, too.

I have tried these. They are great just very high in sodium so you do need to watch that. Otherwise they are great and very quick.
