I’ve told you time and again how much I love quick & easy meals.  When I was given the opportunity to review Fast Fixin’ Chicken Nuggets, I said yes because I felt like they would be a good fit for my family.

I got the coupons in the mail and added them to my grocery list.  I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to find Fast Fixin’ products because I’d never seen them at my store (but I’d also never looked for them).  However, a few days later I was at HEB (or grocery store) and quickly found them near the other frozen chicken products.  I picked up the Fast Fixin’ Chicken Fries and Dino Nuggets.

About:

  • Fast Fixin’ is a better chicken nugget, with all-natural white breast meat and 20% less fat and calories than its competition.
  • They are made with 20% lower total fat and calories than the leading brand.
  • They are made from the best and healthiest part of the chicken, the white breast meat.

My Thoughts (Chicken Fries): 

  • My kids LOVED the chicken!  Both of my boys ate more dinner than they usually consume. 
  • I can see myself making these for my kids on nights when they have a babysitter.
  • I like the size of the Chicken Fries.  They are thicker than other brands and that tells me there is more meat in each one.
  • My husband and I weren’t huge fans.  The breading wasn’t crisp enough for me and my husband said the same.

    I would say the chicken fries would probably be served with tater tots and some bbq sauce, while the nuggets may be best with some mashed potatoes and country gravy.

    I will bake them and fix some dipping cheese or ranch to dip them in.Kids love chicken and dippin!

    I would serve the chicken fries with honey mustard, green beans and fresh strawberries! My kids would love them!
