S’mores parties are one of our favorite things to do. The marshmallow roasting and conversation are the best parts of having friends over for a s’mores night. However, after they leave and everything is cleaned up, I am ready for bed. I don’t want to stay up and watch the fire. Duraflame Roasting Logs are perfect for these fun-filled nights because they burn for up to 2 hours.
My husband and I planned a s’mores night for the Saturday before Vacation Bible School started (any excuse to have one is a GOOD excuse!). We invited our friends from church and my parents. Only my parents came, but we still had fun!
What We Thought:
- It was super easy to light.
- The roasting logs didn’t give off that “campfire smell.” This didn’t really bother me, but my husband would have liked it.
- The Duraflame Roasting Logs burned for right at two hours – it was PERFECT! The fire went out just as we wrapped up our gathering.
- The first marshmallow we roasted looked a little “sooty” so we threw it in the fire and roasted some more.

Can’t wait to give mine a try next week on our camping trip. Do you even need an excuse for a s’mores party? 🙂

How fun!! Those smores look delish! Two hours is plenty of time for a nice campfire, those logs would be very convenient!
