This year is the third year I’ve participated in the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap. I think it’s so much fun to make cookies and send them to three random people! Not only do I get to send cookies out into the world, I also receive delicious treats, too!
When I signed up, I paid $4 to participate. That money is donated to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. This year, there are four brand partners, Oxo, Dixie Crystals, Brownie Brittle and California Olive Ranch. Each brand partner matched the bloggers’ donations (up to $3000 each). I’ll update when I know how much that amount was!
About Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap:
The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap brings together food bloggers from around the world, sharing cookies and recipes with each other.
I attempted to make oatmeal cookies with white chocolate and craisins, but they were too soft to send in a package. So I switched gears and made Devil’s Food Crinkle Cookies. OH BOY are they good!! I can’t wait for my packages to get to their people!
Devil's Food Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix
- 2 eggs
- 6 TBSP butter melted
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°
-
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until everything is incorporated.
-
Using your hands, make 1" balls with the dough.
-
Roll the ball through the powered sugar and place on an (ungreased) cookie sheet.
-
Bake for 9-11 minutes.
-
Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then move them to a cooling rack.
-
ENJOY!
I don’t think you’ll regret making these Devil’s Food Crinkle Cookies … well, unless you eat the whole batch!

I always use salted but I’m sure you could make it with unsalted, too.
