Surprising others with fun gifts – no matter how big or small – is something I enjoy! And the feeling that accompanies the sharing of holiday (or any day) joy isn’t bad, either!
Giving doesn’t have to be expensive, though, not even when you are giving a large number of gifts. Take my Coca-Cola Brownies and Santa Coke de Mexico bottles, for instance. Even with all the embellishments and ingredients accounted for, I only spent about $1.25 to make one brownie and a Santa Coke de Mexico bottle.
I bought Coke de Mexico (in glass bottles & made with real sugar!) at my local Sam’s Club. Since I was already there, I also picked up a box of brownie mix. If you wanted a bigger Santa, pick up a 4-pack of 2-liter Coke and Diet Coke at the special price of $3.98 during the holiday season.
The Coca-Cola Brownies are so easy to make but also very tasty. That, in my opinion, makes the perfect way to share joy this season!

I like to pair one Coca-Cola brownie with one Santa Coke de Mexico bottle for a mouthwatering treat!
Santa Coke de Mexico bottles –
You’ll Need:
- Coke de Mexico 24-pack made with real sugar from Sam’s Club
- Miniature Santa hats
- Black, red and gold felt or paper (I bought glitter foam with a sticker back.)
- Scissors
- Sticky Dots
Directions:
- Cut the black and/or red felt into 1.5 by 5.5 inch strips.
- Cut the gold felt into 1 by 1/5 inch rectangles. Bend in half lengthwise and snip a small line so you can cut a rectangle out of the center.
- Add 2 (or 4) sticky dots to the back of the gold felt ‘buckle’ and adhere to the middle of the black or red ‘belt’.
- Attach the ‘belt’ to one of the Coke de Mexico bottles (over the label).
- Put a small sticky dot inside a miniature Santa hat and attach it to the Coke de Mexico lid.
- Place another sticky dot on the bottle where you want the Santa hat to sit. Press to stick.
Like I said, sharing joy doesn’t have to be difficult or cost you a fortune!

Anyone who knows me knows that a bottle of Coke would be the sweetest gift ever. (Well, actually Diet Coke.) Can you get those in Diet Coke? I wonder…
Sara Phillips says
I don’t think these bottles come in Diet Coke …
