Do you love projects with your kids? Anything from cooking to art projects can always be a blast! But, that usually means a mess will be left behind, am I right?!
Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner has launched an exciting Web site where you can find and share recipes for fun activities to do with your kids. At cloroxrecipesforfun.com, you and your kids can get ideas for science experiments, cooking recipes and arts and crafts projects. Have a ball making a mess while you teach your children cooking and science lessons along the way. No worries though, because the clean-up is a snap with Clorox® Clean Up®! You’ll be able to find the perfect activity for you and your kids to live it up, mess it up, then clean it up.
My kids love Creative Cooking – give them options and they will come up with just about anything! Sometimes, I have to tell them “NO WAY” because they want to mix eggs and bananas or something crazy like that. One of their favorite creative meals is the Taco Salad.
Ingredients:
- Hamburger Meat (or Ground Turkey)
- Taco Seasoning
- Green food – lettuce or spinach
- Vegetables – peas, carrots, olives, tomatoes, corn (we use hominy)
- Rice – we use brown rice
- Sour Cream
- Cheese
- Shell – tortillas or corn chips
How to:
- Brown your hamburger meat and add taco seasoning as directed on the package.
- Cook your veggies (if desired) and rice.
- Let each family member create their own taco salad. Eat and enjoy!
