Disclosure: I’ve partnered with WomensForum and Wet Ones® to bring you this post.
All opinions are my own.
When I asked my friends to give me messy indoor craft ideas, I’m pretty sure they all thought I’d lost my mind because I’m not the coolest mom, and messy crafts, especially indoors, aren’t really my thing. But with Wet Ones® Hand Wipes, I knew I could handle anything my kids threw at me!
With a few blank canvases, some paint, cotton rounds and mallets, we got to work! I told them about a fun craft I’d seen on the internet and explained that they would put piles of paint on the canvas, gently cover the paint with cotton rounds and then hit them to make the paint fly.
The boys started with small piles of paint but after the first hit, they decided they needed more. They pulled each cotton round up, added more paint and replaced it.
While the art didn’t turn out as we’d expected and wasn’t nearly as messy as I thought it’d be, it was still fun!
James was messier than Colin and somehow managed to get paint on his fingers. Thankfully, we had Wet Ones® Hand Wipes open and available to quickly clean up the mess so as not to get it on anything else.
I am more comfortable letting my kids make big messes because I know I have Wet Ones® to clean up with! There are different kinds of Wet Ones® Hand Wipes for different occasions: Wet Ones® Canisters, Wet Ones® Singles and Wet Ones® Travel packs. In my experience, Wet Ones® Canisters are best for at home or in the car (they fit perfectly in a cupholder!), Wet Ones® Singles are best for carrying in your purse and Wet Ones® Travel packs are for, well, traveling!

Loved the craft – very cool pain effect! If it was my kids, paint would have been all over the table, the chairs and themselves!

My littlest is my messiest. She absolutely LOVES art time and I try not to let my preference for keeping things neat and tidy get in the way of her creative juices flowing. But that means that I need to have products on hand to assist with things like glue spills, glitter bombs, and paint splatters. Love the convenience of Wet Ones for just this purpose! Let the creativity be unleashed!
