Chupa Chups Give a Dam App {#Review}

James got an iPod Touch for his birthday this year and he asks to download a new game every chance he gets!  I don’t often pay for apps because I am afraid he won’t like it and I’ll have wasted my money.  Additionally, I don’t like to purchase games that don’t have some educational value.

Chupa Chups has recently released a new app game called Chupa Chups Give a Dam, which we just call Chupa.  It is a free game and is available on the Apple iPad, iPod and iPhone devices!

My Thoughts: 

• The goal is to touch the rafts to the Chupa Chups logos.
• You have to use each of the given rafts before the clock will start to count down.  (I didn’t realize this at first and became frustrated.)
• After some levels, the game kicks me back to the home screen and I have to go back into the app (and remember what level I was on).
• I feel like there is some educational value to this game – stacking and balance.
• The graphics in the game are really fun – the faces change from frowns to smiles!
• Watch out – this game can be addicting!
• James gets ready for school as quickly as possible so that he can spend 5 (or so) minutes playing before we catch the bus.
• I would give this app 4 stars (out of 5)!

About: 

Chupa Chups and is a classic physics game where players have to help the main character, Chuck, by guiding the happy campers as they take their leisurely dip into the unpredictable river!  One wrong step and they will submerge into the deep end of a waterfall. The game features 120 levels available to unlock (10 sets of 12), animated characters and hidden interactivity to be discovered along the way.  Chupa Chups is geared for older kids, includes great graphics and is an entertaining game players will love.
