Participating in FUN 5Ks is something I really enjoy doing. It’s a great way to keep myself motivated and moving. I think it’s fun to engage in exercise with friends and these 5Ks are a fantastic way to do just that.
For the Neon Dash, I will be walking (I am not a runner) with my husband and some friends. It’s not about finishing first for me, but rather, having fun doing something I would really rather not. And, listening to my husband talk about how ‘quickly’ I am moving is definitely pretty nice!
About the Neon Dash:
The Neon Dash is the original night time colored Event that’s been sweeping the Nation! Join thousands in the brightest and most magical glowing 5k you’ve ever seen! Run, dance, jog or walk through 4 different Glow Zones, where each one we’ll cover you with in our own Super Intense Ultra-violet Neon. Our Blacklights will illuminate you and your friends in all your glowry! We’ll also be blastin’ pumped up music at each zone to keep your energy going!
You’ll light up again as you cross the finish line into a HUGE After Glow Party filled with jammin’ music, performers and thousands of participants covered in Neon- all dancing the night away! Don’t forget to swing by the photo booth so you can snag the ultimate glowing Profile Picture (you know you have to).
We only have 2 rules-
1) All Participants MUST Wear a Solid White T-Shirt, Decorated Team Shirt, or given Participant Shirt during the Race (we mean it!)
2) All Participants MUST have a great time – NO EXCEPTIONS!

This looks so awesome! I think if this event was in my area I’d definitely have fun participating in it and I’d bring my teens along too. I think they’d like it as well. 🙂
I’m not a runner but the 5K’s look like so much fun. I would love to do something like this with my daughter who does love run. It would be great mother/daughter bonding.
I’m not a runner, either. I walk the 5k’s but they are SO much fun and I am usually not the last person, either!
