Bubba Brand Mug #Review {#Giveaway} CLOSED

About a year ago, my husband and I went to see a movie where we (of course!) bought popcorn and sodas.  The soda cup was probably 44 oz and made of plastic.  When it was time to head home, my husband asked if we could save the cups so he could use them for work.  I thought he was silly; he didn’t need my permission to save those cups!  We brought them home, I washed them and he took them to work. Everyday he’d fill it with ice water and at the end of the week one cup would come home for a run through the dishwasher.  They finally gave out and my husband was without his extra large water cups!

When Bubba Brand asked if I would review their 32oz Envy Mug and their 22oz Edge bottle, I thought it was a perfect fit!  The 32oz Envy mug would be a terrific replacement for my husband’s long-gone movie cup, right?!  RIGHT!!  And I’d use the 22oz Edge bottle for when I was out walking.

When the Bubba Brand products arrived on my doorstep, my husband was at work.  I could tell what was in the package, so I put it on the table and left it for my husband to open.  He could not have been more excited!

It’s been about a week since my husband took his 32oz Envy mug to work with him.  Here are his thoughts:

  • It’s the PERFECT size.
  • The handle definitely helps make this cup.
  • I love the straw!  (I hate hard plastic straws because they are too big.  I don’t feel like they fit in my mouth properly.  So this straw is great.)
  • I am impressed with how well it keeps things cold.  I can put ice in my cup at noon, and it’s still there when it’s time to leave 5 hours later.
  • I like it’s look – it’s a beautiful mug.  I get lots of compliments on it!
  • It’s nice to see what’s in my cup.
  • I like that it has a straw and a mouthpiece.
  • I haven’t put anything but water in the mug because I don’t want to stain the plastic.

And, I’ve been using the 22oz Edge bottle for about a week.  Here are my thoughts:

  • I love that the cup fits in cup holders.  
  • I don’t love the straw.  I feel like it collapses too much when I am trying to drink.
  • The narrow top of the bottle makes it hard to put ice from my ice maker in (you have to put them in vertically, as they don’t just fall in).
  • I LOVE that it’s dishwasher safe!
  • The bottle is a beautiful shade of blue.
  • I love that the Bubba Brands products are BPA free, too!
