I adore children’s books. Not only do my boys have an entire bookcase full, but I have two shelves full in my own bookcase! They are just so fun, colorful and educational (in some form or another)!
When I was sent BECAUSE I’M YOUR DAD to review, I was more than pleased with the colors, font size and simplicity. I love that it’s a book kids can connect with. There are so many things in the book that actually occur in our household – we have French toast for dinner and my boys get carried in the house if they fall asleep in the car. There are other things in the book (mud forts in the backyard) that would never happen, but are so fun to imagine!
It’s definitely a book I would recommend!
Also, maybe Dad isn’t in a child’s life, it would be very easy to substitute “Dad” for “Mom,” “Grandma,” “Grandpa,” or whomever.

I love finding and reading new children’s books. This sound cute and love the illustrations!
What a cute book! My kids are already into chapter books now and I miss the days when they enjoyed books like this.
I have one in chapter books and one that still loves these, so I get to enjoy both worlds for a little longer!
