In my 30 years, I’ve taken up many hobbies – shopping, scrapbooking, playing bingo, photography, laughing (I love to laugh, so yes, this is a hobby!), studying, reading – SO many things. While I still thoroughly enjoy all of them, I don’t have time to participate in each one anymore.
Deciding which activity to enjoy can be difficult. When I shop, I want to spend money on my kids (not myself). Sure, that’s not all bad – but even when I go with the intention of shopping for myself, I end up only buying for my kids. All of my scrapbooking stuff is packed away and hidden in a closet (it’s sad, really) because there isn’t enough room in our house for me to have my own work space. When I sit down to read a book, I am almost immediately interrupted by a kid wanting to ask or tell me something.
Things like laughing, photography and bingo, though, are easy! When you find the humor in everyday activities, it’s easy to laugh! I can pretend I am a good photographer with just my camera, which is always with my anyway, and a subject. I would much prefer to go play bingo with friends at a local bingo night, but when that’s not possible, I have the option of playing online using the Gala Bingo promo code. I’m being completely honest with you – I’ve never played bingo online. But I do like that I have the option!
