Back to School with Mabel’s Labels {#Review}

Back to school is the craziest time of year.  My kids like to pick out all the items on their lists.  But selecting those necessities is pain-staking and tedious so the last thing I want to do is replace them two weeks into the school year.  Lucky for me, Mabel’s Labels has the perfect solution: the Ultimate Back to School Combo pack!

About: 

Mabel’s Labels started in 2003 with  four moms frustrated by their children’s belongings leaving home, never to return.  They decided to create the very best personalized, waterproof name labels and tags possible. Mabel’s Labels are has a long list of awards and recognitions.

I still had labels with James’ name on them so I ordered this set in Colin’s name and let him pick the design.  He chose the multi-color sharks.  The Ultimate Back to School pack comes with 40 Skinny-Minis™, 50 Tag Mates™, 16 Shoe Labels, 2 Teeny Tags™ and costs $42. Mabel’s Labels are durable and waterproof which means they’ll stand a chance against my boys!

What I Like:

• I received the Ultimate Back to School Combo pack rather quickly.
• The labels are easy to remove from the backing and place on your supplies.
• There are three sizes included in the pack.  It makes it easy to select the size that fits.  (We used the shoe labels on notebooks and pencil boxes, Skinny-Minis on pencils, scissors and pens and Tag Mates on glue and crayons.  We used one Teeny Tag on Colin’s backpack.)

What I’d Change:

• It was difficult to get the ring on the Teeny Tag.  I’d like to see that come already attached or easier to put together.
