When Colin was first prescribed a steroid cream for his eczema, he was so young!  I was desperate to find a way to cover his legs (without making him too hot) so he wouldn’t get that cream on his hands and rub it in his face.  And that is how I first came to LOVE BabyLegs!  I started out by liking the BabyLegs facebook page and not long after, they posted some kind of great sale.  I think I ordered something like six pairs to start with – mostly because I couldn’t pick just one!  We still fight with eczema but now that Colin is 3, we use BabyLegs more to keep the cream in place than to keep his hands away from it.

BabyLegs sent me a “grab bag” with Laser, Bocci Ball and Little Foot legwarmers and the Lewis socks … ALL super cute, see:

The BabyCool are PERFECT for San Antonio weather!  They keep Colin’s legs from getting too warm.

I am attempting to potty train Colin, and I am hoping BabyLegs will really help.  That way he doesn’t have to fight to get pants off in order to use the restroom.  That would be huge for him, I think.

I can’t wait to order a pair of BabyNoBugs, partly because they are so cute, but partly because they will be great for protecting Colin from mosquitoes!  (And, I might have to order BabyNoBugs so James can use them as armwamers, right?!)

Colin’s favorite are the Little Foot legwarmers – he LOVES the dinosaurs!!

       

BabyLegs come in one size fits most.  I love that you don’t have to buy more as your kiddo grows, you only need to buy more to add to your collection!  The socks come in 0-12 months, 12-24 months and 2-4T.

What I love:

  • The legwarmers are simple to put on (and the BL at the bottom tells you which way is up).
  • The legwarmers are super-dooper soft.
  • They don’t have special care instructions.
  • They don’t leave “too tight” marks on Colin’s legs (at the top OR bottom).
  • They are versatile.  You can use them as armwarmers!!
  • BabyLegs offers so many different varieties: Organic, BabyCool and BabyNoBugs.
  • The socks of the non-slip grip on the bottom.
  • As with the legwarmers, the socks are soft and don’t have special care instructions.

What I would change:
  • Nothing!!  I absolutely adore BabyLegs and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
  • Ok … one thing … I would use the concept to create arm warmers for adults!!

    i love babylegs and have 16 pairs for my daughter! i would like one of the new baby no bugs– the ladybugs are super cute! i think my favorite that we own are either fresca or watermelon 🙂

    Goal Legwarmers are favorite! Love this article. My son also has eczema and uses steroid cream. I too constantly worry about him getting it on his hands when he scratches. Never even thought about these as a solution! Wonderful idea!! (extra entry for liking this post on facebook)

    If we could create a new babylegs we would make a white and blue gingham pattern with red silk ruffles and red silk bows at the top and name them Dorothy!

    we are big cat lovers so if we could design some BL, we would make a line of cat ones with ribbon whiskers (black cat, tabby and calico) and soft minky ears.

    I have not yet tried Baby Legs but I am really thinking of buying a pair for my baby girl. Just having a hard time deciding on which ones.
