Colin has HORRIBLE eczema. I will try anything I can get my hands on to help the “itchies” go away.
See, what happens is this – we use a steroid cream (for 2 weeks) and just about the time the eczema is cleared up, we have to stop (for 2 weeks) and by the time we can start it again, it’s crazy out of control again. His doctor wanted to do an allergy test, but when she recommended it, she wanted to wait until he turned 3, so it’s time. I just need to make the appointment.
When I received the Baby Magic Eczema Balm, I was SUPER excited! I opened the package and smeared the Balm all over his spots. It was an “off” week for the steroid cream, so he has been scratching like crazy. As soon as I rubbed it on, he stopped scratching! (We use BabyLegs to keep creams in place and off his hands.)
After two weeks of no steroid cream and LOTS and LOTS of Baby Magic Eczema Balm, Colin’s eczema spots are looking (and feeling) awesome!! When the Baby Magic Eczema Balm is applied Colin does NOT have the urge to scratch, which let’s the eczema spots heal! I would recommend the Baby Magic Eczema Balm to anyone and everyone!
The Balm is made with: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Isopropyl Palmitate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Ozokerite, Beeswax, Microcystalline Wax, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, BHT.
What I LOVED:
— The simple fact that you don’t have to get your hands messy to apply the product.
— The texture of the balm – it was creamy and not insanely greasy.
— It’s magic in the form of a stick! My baby no longer has the “itchies” and when he starts to itch, we IMMEDIATELY apply the Baby Magic Eczema Balm and the itchiness almost instantly stops.
— It is completely portable (and EASY to transport).
— It’s not stinky … actually, it doesn’t have any smell, which is awesome!
What I would change:
— I would make a larger stick. This one disappeared really quickly.
— According to their store locator, I currently cannot go to a store to purchase the balm. I would have to order online, which wouldn’t be bad as long as there’s free shipping! 😉
You can (and should ;)) connect with Baby Magic in the following ways:
**Full Disclosure: I received the product at no cost to me. I was not compensated for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I wonder if this would work for older kids. My son is 12 and his eczema is still pretty bad. He hates how the creams feel on him and I have to be the one to apply it. This would be really great because he could do it himself easily.

I am sure it would! I don’t have eczema, but I have VERY dry hands in the winter, and it works on them! My sister (in her late 20s) still has eczema, and I will be sharing this with her for SURE!

I’m going to have to get this for B. She needs it, her Eczema is bad year round, But when things start blooming this spring it gets worse.
