There is a bald eagle nest in Davenport, Iowa with a camera streaming live video. It is the coolest thing to watch the Liberty (the momma) protect her young eaglets!

About:
A pair of bald eagles joined the Alcoa Davenport community in Iowa in 2009. They built their 7-foot nest on our 400-acre facility in a tree near the Mississippi River. In the spring of 2010 they fledged a pair of eaglets and later that year we installed our first Eaglecam. Employees and the community helped name the eagle pair Liberty and Justice. In April 2011, an online poll named the single eaglet they fledged that year “Freedom.” In 2012, they fledged three eaglets that were named Faith, Hope and Spirit by online voting.
OH How amazing to watch!
They had it in a different spot for the past several years but I love watching it and of course, knowing people nationwide are seeing something in my state 🙂
I love those animal cams! We have baby tigers at our zoo. I could watch them for hours!!
I love live cams like this. I remember watching a panda bear live cam with my son when he was younger! Very cool!
Oh No – I’m afraid that I’ll get hooked watching and never get anything else done.
I love webcams of animals! I’ll have to come back when it’s up and running. 😀
My son is obsessed with eagles. I need to show him this. We have a really cool hawk in our neighborhood and he tracks it almost daily.
My kids asked and asked all winter to check out the eagle cam. Thanks for the reminder. Completely forgot about it since they finally stopped asking!
My husband emailed it to me and told me I should post it. We’ve watched other cams, but I love this one!
Tha’ts awesome you can watch!
