So I’ve been trying to push my boundaries and try new (read: more fashionable) things. While incorporating color into my outfit isn’t something I often struggle with, I think it’s a great way to liven things up and good about myself. Monroe and Main is ready to help us feel fabulous with cobalt, red, merlot, orange and aubergine selections for Fall!
I am pretty fond of purple, so it took every ounce of will-power to scroll past the aubergine choices – especially the Tracy Dress – and try to pick something a little out of my comfort zone. I looked closely at the Red Hot Mama Dress but ultimately the Fan Color Block dress won out. The cobalt was a no-brainer – especially with the flattering lines!
I ADORED the Fan Color Block dress online but after trying it on, I am even more in love with it. I feel poised and beautiful when I wear it. The high neckline, the cap sleeves, the fabric and the way the colors fan across to hide my belly make it the perfect dress for me. It’s totally worth the $89.95 price tag!
So far, I’ve only paired the dress with my black Dolce Fantasia Gladiator by Mojo Moxy sandals because I personally wouldn’t add anymore cobalt to this outfit. That one fan ‘blade’ of cobalt is just enough for me and I think the black sandal really makes the ensemble.
But if you wanted an extra pop, try adding Monroe and Main’s Leather Turnlock Tote. It’s a stunning bag!
This is my first Monroe and Main piece but I felt more confident in this dress than I have in a long time, so I am certain I’ll be adding more to my collection!
