I volunteered in the nursery last week at Vacation Bible School (mostly to get a tiny baby fix). 😀 The nursery has this uber-cool toy storage shelving system that I fell in love with. So, I sketched it out, and told my super-handy husband, “This is what I want!” He measured, sketched a better sketch, and told me we could do it! YAY!
Today we went to Lowes and bought the wood he needs to build it – and it’s sitting in the garage waiting for cooler weather!

I’m pretty sure about 90% of us have a play area that looks just like that on a daily basis! I love your idea though and love that you are going to do the project yourselves. Can’t wait to see it finished.

I’m very interested to see the finished pictures. My son’s room is a complete and total disaster this week. I mean, it looks like ten kids have been in there instead of one.
I love organization systems – and think that it’s just the thing that most people need to get their homes in ship shape tidiness – looking forward to seeing it when it’s all complete.
