Wordless Wednesday

Four years ago, my baby was born!  Colin was born on 11/4 after 2 hours of labor.  (I opted for a natural water birth – if you really wanted to know.)  Giving birth on Election Day is the way to go – we didn’t have to watch all the returns!  We were home before midnight with our new bundle of joy!

Today he is a spunky kid with a lot of heart.  He enjoys being outside, coloring, LEGO Ninjagos, and baking with me.

Happy 4th Birthday, Colin!!

    Colin You probably can’t read this so have mommy read it to you. You have quite the special birthday. Do you know why? Because you are special and never forget that. What was your favorite Birthday Gift?

      We delivered with a midwife at a birthing center (1/2 a mile from the hospital) – and that’s the ONLY reason we were home that quickly! When I had James, I delivered at an Army hospital and I was forced to stay THREE DAYS, so I wanted something very different. 🙂

    Happy birthday!! He’s grown into a handsome young man. 4 is always the age that seems to be the bridge from ‘baby’ to ‘kid’ … it’s bittersweet!
