Insignia LED Light Bulbs {#Review}

We try to do what we can to be eco-friendly.  We’ve changed our light bulbs to CFL’s, we recycle tons, and {attempt to} compost.  The up-front cost of being green is typically more but, for me, it’s worth it in the long run.

CFL bulbs last a long time, but when it’s time to get rid of them, you have to go to some top-secret location (good luck finding one) to dispose of them.  I REALLY wish the stores that sold them would have a bulb recycle bin of some kind, but no one asked my opinion.  That being said, LED bulbs last a really long time as well and, as far as I know, you can just toss them in your trash can when they go out.

I replaced the CFL bulbs in my living room light fixture, and I was really impressed with how quickly they become bright!  I also really like that they are plastic!  I didn’t try to drop them, but since they are plastic they shouldn’t shatter.  I would really like to see a multi-pack available for purchase.
