McKenna Children’s Museum in New Braunfels, TX {#Review and #Giveaway} CLOSED

Columbus Day was a school holiday for James so we met some friends at the McKenna Children’s Museum in New Braunfels and had some learning fun!

We arrived right at 10am (a little before our friends) and headed inside.  Now I hadn’t been here before, so when I walked in, I was a little confused about where to get tickets.  It turns out you enter the gift shop, purchase tickets at the gift shop counter and continue through the gift shop to enter the museum.

The McKenna Children’s Museum offers so many cool things.  A biology lab, ambulance, spaceship, bank and campground were some of our indoor favorites!  The water table and climber were our outdoor favorites!

My kids visited each exhibit at least twice – they had a BLAST!

You can expect to spend at least two hours playing around the museum.  If you want to leave for lunch (or naps!) and come back, just have show your receipt and you can play until they close.

 

Admission is very reasonable – $5.50 (Labor Day – Memorial Day) or $7.50 (Memorial Day – Labor Day).  Members and children 12 months and younger are free.

Parking is FREE, but the lot is small, so get there early!
