Halloween is a great time to watch something spooky, something creepy or even something funny. The good news is that Netflix offers you lots of awesome Halloween-themed episodes from some of the top television shows of all time.

3rd Rock from the Sun – 3rd Rock from the Sun was a sitcom television series that aired for 6 seasons, from 1996 to 2001. The series starred John Lithgow, Kristen Johnston, Jane Curtin, French Stewart and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Season 3, Episode 5- Scaredy Dick- originally aired on October 29, 1997. In this episode, Mary Albright (Curtin) asks Sally Solomon (Johnston) and Tommy Solomon (Gordon-Levitt) to housesit for her on Halloween night. Harry Solomon (Stewart) stays home for the night, hears some odd noises and is convinced there is a ghost in the house.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer – Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a supernatural drama television series that aired for 7 seasons, from 1997 to 2003. The series starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz and James Marsters. Season 2, Episode 6- Halloween- originally aired on October 27, 1997. In this episode, Ethan Rayne (Robin Sachs) casts a spell that turns kids into the real-life version of their Halloween costume. Later, Rupert Giles (Head) breaks the spell at a very pivotal time.
Cheers – Cheers was a sitcom television series that aired for 11 seasons, from 1982 to 1993. The series starred Ted Danson, Shelley Long, Rhea Perlman, George Wendt and John Ratzenberger. Season 5, Episode 5- House of Horrors with Formal Dining and Used Brick- originally aired on October 30, 1986. In this episode, Carla Tortelli (Perlman) moves into a new home that she got a great deal on. She later learns the home was built over a 17th century prison graveyard.
Friends – Friends was a sitcom television series that aired for 10 seasons, from 1994 to 2004. The series starred Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. Season 8, Episode 6- The One with the Halloween Party- originally aired on November 1, 2001. In this episode, Monica Geller (Cox) and Chandler Bing (Perry) throw a Halloween party. Phoebe Buffay (Kudrow) finds herself attracted to Eric (Sean Penn), who is engaged to her twin sister, Ursula Buffay (Kudrow). Rachel Green (Aniston) feels that her maternal instincts are kicking in and she wants to hand out Halloween candy.
Mad Men – Mad Men was a period drama television series that aired for 7 seasons, from 2007 to 2015. The series starred Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and John Slattery. Season 3, Episode 11- The Gypsy and the Hobo- originally aired on October 25, 2009. In this episode, Betty Francis (Jones) confronts Don Draper about his secret past, forcing him to tell her the truth about who he really is.
Parks and Recreation – Parks and Recreations was a political comedy television series that aired for 7 seasons, from 2009 to 2015. The series starred Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt and Adam Scott. Season 5, episode 5- Halloween
Surprise – Originally aired on October 25, 2012. In this episode, Ben Wyatt (Scott) is offered a political campaign job in Florida, which doesn’t make Leslie Knope (Poehler) happy. Later, Ben does something that surprises Leslie, and everyone else. Ron Swanson (Offerman) and Andy Dwyer (Pratt) go trick-or-treating with Diane Lewis (Lucy Lawless) and her two daughters.
The Office – The Office was a comedy television series that aired for 9 seasons, from 2005 to 2013. The series starred Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, BJ Novak and Ed Helms. Season 2, Episode 5- Halloween- originally aired on October 18, 2005. In this episode, Michael Scott (Carell) has been procrastinating his task of firing an employee, due to downsizing. On Halloween, he plans on firing Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton), but Creed convinces Michael to fire Devon White (Devon Abner) instead. But, Devon doesn’t take the news very well.
