My husband has a Subaru and loves it. I didn’t realize, though, that the company we purchased our vehicle from did such great things to support the community. I like to support companies that do amazing things for their communities.
The Subaru Share the Love event features four national charitable partners, including the ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America and the National Park Foundation. Additionally, local Subaru retailers are able to support a local charity from their own community, adding over 630 additional causes to the Share the Love campaign. East Hills Subaru chose the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
East Hills Subaru has been open for two years and has participated in the Share the Love event since opening. They have announced a donation of $33,242 was made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society during the 2015 Share the Love event! That’s an increase over $28,639 donated after the 2014 event.
“East Hills Subaru is so proud to be in a position to donate $33,242 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society this year for a total of $61,881 donated over the past two years. The Society is of terrific importance to me and there is nothing I would like more than for there to be a cure for those who are afflicted with multiple sclerosis. We appreciate Subaru’s commitment to its dealers and our local communities and we take very seriously the trust that Subaru owners have placed in us to do the right thing by them,” said Kenneth Brodlieb, chairman, East Hills Auto Group.
East Hills Subaru isn’t alone, though. Subaru and its dealer network donates $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased. In total, Subaru has donated nearly $70 million to charitable organizations through this program over the last 8 years.
