**Full Disclosure: I was invited to attend the Honda Ridgeline Experience at no cost to me. I sent Shine Beautifully on my behalf. All opinions are her own!
Talk about being at right place at the right time; it led me to an experience I will never forget. I was able to not only be part of a media conference for Honda, I was able to test out, drive, and play with the new 2017 Ridgeline. This vehicle is truly for the person who does it all; taking a relaxing drive, going on camping trips, working on home projects, to a night on the town, you are sure to ride in comfort, style, and have plenty of space to load up all you need to take with you.
Being a truck girl myself and always having family with me on my ventures, the passenger space was definitely best in class. 5 people fit comfortably in the Ridgeline; the drive itself was super smooth and had the feel of a luxury sedan. Most trucks are high off the ground and difficult to get on, while, the Ridgeline was perfect for me to get off and on it. If you are one who takes lots of road trips, the Ridgeline’s economic V6 2WD and AWD engine is quiet and picks up speed nicely. Being big on outdoor sports, I was anxious to test drive the Ridgeline while pulling a boat, trailer, and carrying atvs in the back. To my surprise, you barely noticed any difference and it was as if you had nothing attached.
The techie in me was like a kid in a candy store; the technology in the Ridgeline is so cool! One of my favorite features is the audio system that you can hear in the entire bed of the truck. In the bed of the truck there is an AC power outlet also, so you can hook up a TV. Talk about the ultimate tailgating experience! Other really neat features of the Ridgeline include: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple inputs for personal electronics, LED lighting, advanced safety and driver assist technology, and the ever so cool lane watch feature. Based on the trim, and features, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline price range is from $29, 500 up to $42,000+.
Being a business owner, storage is very important to me. The Ridgeline is the only dual-action tailgate and in-bed truck today. The dual-action tailgate not only flips downward when opening, it also swings open for easy trunk access. You can easily pack up your 82 qt. cooler in the trunk of the truck while using the bed for other necessities. The Ridgeline’s truck bed is wider, longer, and the only truck in the market that allows 4 ft X 8 ft. sheet goods to lay flat. The truck bed also comes with bed lining and a convenient dry storage. So whether you are carry dry or wet items, everything can be packed up nicely and safe.
Not only is the Ridgeline cool in the inside, its stylish body is unlike other midsize trucks on the market.
My favorite model was the black edition; it’s custom interior, seats, and black on black wheels gives is a very sporty look and made me feel tough driving it. The Ridgeline is one of the best trucks I have driven, I not only felt safe, but it has features inside and out to accommodate all lifestyles. The Ridgeline is like an all in one vehicle; it has features of a suv, truck, van, and car all in one.

Wow this looks like such an amazing vehicle! I love it when there is plenty of space, and with 2 booster seats and 1 rear facing carseat it’s important to have!

Wow! Great review, April! This looks even more versatile than my Jeep and towing is a big plus. I may have to look into it.
