It’s March and that means basketball! My husband and I have a friend who coaches a local college basketball team so we are more interested in the game now than we were when we first got married.
I haven’t ever played much basketball but occasionally I’ll play a little with my kids. For someone who doesn’t play much, there are plenty of aches and pains that come with picking up a sporadic game. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the time with my kids but after it’s all said and done the pain shows up and that’s where Advil comes in.
Nothing’s stronger, longer lasting or better on your tough aches and pains than Advil* (*Among OTC brands).
While it’s fun to play and watch basketball, I’d much rather be crafting! To tie the two together, I made a great DIY basketball sign. I plan on giving the sign to our coach friend for his office after his basketball season is over.
DIY Basketball Sign
Supplies:
- Wooden board (12 x 12 or so)
- Black permanent marker
- Pencil
- Letter stencils (optional)
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
Instructions:
- If your board isn’t already cut to size, cut it.
- Trace your letters/words onto the board.
- Fill them in with paint and let dry.
- Trace with a permanent marker.
- Set it in the perfect place and enjoy it!
It’s not perfect but the DIY basketball sign was the easiest craft I’ve done in quite some time.
Just to be prepared for the next pick-up game, I grabbed Advil and Nexium 24HR at Walmart. They both came in bonus packs. Grab your Advil coupon today and make the bonus packs an even better deal.

That’s such a cute craft – I love how it turned out! I haven’t heard that quote before, but it’s a good one! #client
