**Full Disclosure: I am a Salata Select blogger and received a gift card to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
It’s not very often I need to have an event catered. Okay, okay, it’s about once every 10+ years! But a few weeks ago, for no special reason, I picked up a Salata Bar for my husband and his co-workers.
My husband’s co-workers came in a few at a time and filled their plates. They were all very impressed with the spread!
I was able to feed myself, my husband and 10 of his co-workers. A few people even came back for a second plate of salad and I still had plenty of food leftover for lunch the next couple of days!
About the Salata Bar:
The Salata Bar is Salata’s most popular option and is perfect for smaller groups. The bar offers a customizable build-your-own salad and serves 15.
It comes with Salata’s signature Salata mix lettuce and 12 fresh toppings: corn, black beans, broccoli, bell pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, feta cheese, cheddar cheese, cranberries and carrots.
I picked the smoked turkey for the protein and Chipotle Ranch, Buttermilk Ranch and Herb Vinaigrette for the dressings. I liked the Herb Vinaigrette the best but I think the Chipotle Ranch was most liked of my husband’s co-workers.
The Salata Bar is a unique take on a catered salad and very well worth it, in my opinion. But if you want something a little more traditional, Salata also offers salad bowls, wrap trays and boxed lunches for your catering needs.
Do you think the Salata Bar would work for your next event?
The next time you are at Salata, from now until October 31, 2015, try these seasonal selections:

That is a great way to cater an event. It looks like delicious food. Easy clean up too!

What a great idea! That’s much healthier than bringing in a box of donuts 🙂
