Shortly after we got married (12 years ago), my husband introduced me to Papa Murphy’s Pizza. It was love at first bite! But we were in Washington visiting his family and didn’t have any locations in Texas. I craved the delicious take and bake pizza for several years before we got a Papa Murphy’s. Now that we have a store just down the street, we enjoy the Cowboy pizza at least once a month and try to pair it with friends for game night.

Last week we made plans to play cards with friends and I was responsible for picking up the pizza. I purchased a large Buffalo Chicken for the adults and a family half cheese, half pepperoni for the kids.

Dinner was served before we played so we didn’t get the playing cards or Rummikub tiles dirty. There was plenty of spicy sarcasm flying across the table and we had a fantastic time! The kids had a good time playing their own games.

Papa Murphy’s has just introduced the Buffalo Chicken as their newest pizza. The pizza is made with a spicy buffalo sauce made with Frank’s Red Hot, grilled chicken, mozzarella, green onions, provolone and cheddar cheese—and then drizzled with Creamy Garlic Sauce. While I am not usually a fan of spicy foods, I tried the Buffalo Chicken and it was not nearly as spicy as I’d imagined. If you need more Frank’s Red Hot, free samples will be handed out with your pizza, while supplies last.

The Buffalo Chicken pizza is available from September 22 – October 31, 2015. I think you should give it a try!
