I love art, but I have the most difficult time deciding on what piece to purchase and then where to put it in my home.
When it came time to pick my Gallery Direct piece, I browsed around for hours and hours. I really wanted something that screamed “Americana” but I didn’t find anything that really said, “YOU NEED ME!” so I kept looking. I found a flower that I loved, but I thought I needed to look harder. The Blue & Red Flower II by Kaliope Phields is what caught my eye, so that’s what I ordered!
It’s beautiful, see:
After choosing on the artwork, I had to decide on the medium. I absolutely adore the acrylic and the mirrored pieces, so I tossed a coin and went with the acrylic. I love that it’s durable, easy to clean and looks awesome with the wall-color as a border.
When my Gallery Direct piece showed up, it was wrapped in a GIGANTIC cardboard box, was wrapped in plastic and had cardboard covers on the edges. There was no way that thing was going to get banged up!
I unwrapped it, set it in the corner so I could decide where to hang it, and then my niece saw it. She had to have it. After taking the pictures I needed, I reluctantly gave it up.
Now tell me, what piece would you pick and on what medium?

I love that print! they have so many to choose from that it is tough to just pick one. You are so sweet to give it up!

Wow, that really pops! I do like the look of using the wall color to your advantage. I need to spruce up my walls – they’re bare and boring…

Your new pic looks beautiful. Gallery Direct has a lot of nice pieces. I like “Last Minute Practice” by Karen Wilkerson. I’d probably get it in canvas.

Oh that’s pretty!! It would look great on canvas!

That is really pretty. One thing I haven’t done yet is invest in much art or decor for my walls. I really should get on the ball with that considering we’ve owned our home for over 6 years.

I love this Art Work. This exactly what I need in my dining room and it matches a piece I have in my living room. Beautiful.
