**Full Disclosure: I received ‘The Kid Who Changed the World’ for review purposes. No other compensation was exchanged. All opinions are mine.
‘The Kid Who Changed the World’ is a good book with a tremendous message. I probably enjoyed the book more than my kids did, but it’s definitely a book reading more than once! The key messages can be found in a font that is red and bigger than the other words. The pictures are vibrant and eye-catching.
About ‘The Kid Who Changed the World’:
The Kid Who Changed the World tells the story of Norman Borlaug, who would one day grow up and use his knowledge of agriculture to save the lives of two billion people. This engaging story reveals the incredible truth that everything we do matters! Based on his book The Butterfly Effect, Andy’s timeless tale shows children that even the smallest of our actions can make a difference in someone’s life. In turn, that person makes a difference in someone else’s life, and the blessing is passed from person to person. Through each character’s story, readers will see that they, too, can be the kid who changes the world.
‘The Kid Who Changed the World’ is meant for kids 4-8 years of age.
I feel like you could start reading this book to kids four and under, but I don’t know if understanding would occur until about age seven. I think the first part of the book would be confusing for younger kids because you read about a character and then flash back to another. The flashback happens several times.
All in all, I would recommend ‘The Kid Who Changed the World’ for any home library!

Things like, if you see trash somewhere pick it up, open doors for people, be nice to the nurse who gives your shots, what should we give to World Vision this Christmas, fostering a dog for a person who lost their home and their job while they get their feet back under them, adopting pets from the humane society instead of buying them somewhere else, and the list goes on. The goal is, see what you can do to help and do it, even if it’s small, it makes a difference.
