- Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Warning Light – This light means there’s a problem with the anti-lock brake system. Battery Warning Light- This light indicates the charging system is short on power and the vehicle is running just on the battery.
- Engine Temperature Warning Light – This light means that the engine is running very hot and is at risk of overheating.
- Engine Warning Light – This light can indicate an array of issues, including the Oxygen Sensor needs to be replaced, the gas cap is damaged, loose, or missing, the Catalytic Converter is damaged, the Mass Airflow Sensor is faulty, or the spark plugs need to be replaced.
- Oil Pressure Warning Light – This light means that either the engine oil levels are very low or there’s an issue with the oil pressure system.
How to check the fluid levels – There are 6 essential fluid levels that need to be checked on your vehicle, about once a month, to ensure that the levels are at the proper levels and that the fluids are clean. These 6 fluids are- brake fluid, coolant, engine oil, power steering fluid, transmission fluid and windshield washer fluid.
