**Full Disclosure: I test-drove the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited for review purposes thanks to Drive Shop. No compensation was received & all opinions are my own.
James just completed 6th grade. He thinks he’s ready & capable to go out and conquer the world. I want to keep him home under my supervision until he is at least 30 but that’s not a real possibility. When he asked if he could attend church camp, the only way I was willing to say yes was with me going as a chaperone. My husband thought I was crazy but reluctantly agreed to the stipulation.
We made arrangements for Colin to spend his days with Grandma & Geezer so my husband didn’t have to take off work. As the week of church camp approached, there was SO MUCH to be done. The 2017 Hyundai Elantra was delivered just in time to complete my to-do list.
The boys and I made a long list of things to do, which included buying special supplies, running the errands I knew my husband wouldn’t do while I was gone and getting all packed up. We piled in the Elantra and, one at a time, knocked out the items on the list!
The 2017 Hyundai Elantra is simply stunning! The vehicle catches peoples’ eyes and turns their heads. However, I felt like the interior was a little underwhelming when compared to the exterior. I expected the console to be very modern with very few buttons & knobs (like radio, seek, tune, volume, etc.). Instead, there were several buttons and knobs.
Don’t get me wrong, though, there was quite a bit to love about the interior, too. The Hyundai Elantra has seat memory which is one of my favorite features! There’s also plenty of leg room in the back seat which is great for my always-growing middle-schooler.

The Elantra looks beautiful! You had me at leg room in the back! We are a family of legs! 🙂
I’m with you, let’s keep them under lock and key until they are 30! Okay, maybe 40? 🙂
