**Full Disclosure: I test-drove the 2014 Chevy Traverse for seven days for review purposes. No compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
I was so in love with the Traverse that I didn’t take time to photograph much of the vehicle, but I do have these shots of the center console and part of the middle row:
My top five favorite features of the 2014 Chevy Traverse:
- Remote Start – Summers in South Texas are brutal so having the car cooled off by the time you were ready to drive off was so fantastic!
- Blind Spot Indicator – It’s such a smart feature – it comes on before a car enters your blind spot and stays on until the car has moved out of the spot.
- Dual-Passenger A/C Controls – My husband and I don’t usually agree on how cool it should be. I like it incredibly cold and my husband likes it about 10 degrees warmer than that. Dual-passenger controls make it easy to keep it how we like.
- USB Ports – There are 2 USB ports at the rear of the center console for second-row use. That was SO GREAT because when the kids needed to charge something, they could do it on their own!
- Huge Gas Tank – I was really surprised that I didn’t have to fill up more than once while I had the Traverse!
The only thing I’d change:
- The Traverse gets about 19 miles per gallon. I’d like to see that increased a bit, but really I can’t complain!
Chevy Traverse standard features include:
- Standard 3.6L V6 engine with Direct Injection
- 6-speed automatic transmission
- Seating for 8 passengers
- 17-inch steel wheels with bolt-on covers
- 6.5-inch color touch-screen with three trial months of SiriusXM Satellite Radio and HD Radio®
- Rear vision camera
- Bluetooth® wireless technology
- Steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls
What do you think your favorite feature would be?

I have a Chevy Equinox, which is very similar to the Traverse, and I love it. It’s very comfortable to travel in locally as a day to day driver or for longer trips. It handles exceptionally well also.

I have to have that third row seating! I love that it looks more like a car, I currently drive a minivan.

My husband has a remote start on his Chevy truck and loves it especially in the winter time. I’ve never had one and would love one. This looks like a great SUV!
