Sea Best Seafood – Blogger Event {and #Giveaway} CLOSED

I don’t love seafood – fresh OR frozen – but when I got the invite to head downtown, visit the Culinary Institute of America and learn about Sea Best Seafood, I knew I had to say yes. First, my husband & kids enjoy seafood and second, I love learning about companies and sharing that knowledge with you guys!

When I arrived, I found a seat at a table so that I could see the kitchen. Sea Best chef, Brian, was going to demonstrate how to cook 3 different dishes and then would taste those dishes. Like I said, I don’t love fish. But I tried each dish! The Swai dish was good – the fish tasted more like chicken than fish, but the couscous was pretty spicy. The Tuna melt was also good. I loved the use of carrots and Dijon mustard! Oh, and the frozen grapes were delicious! The Stew was ok – the base of the soup was really great – but I didn’t care for the cod.

Have you ever heard of Sea Best Seafood? I think I’ve seen their products in the freezer aisle at Walmart, but I am not positive. I’ve never purchased seafood from the fresh counter in my grocery store, but from what I understand, most grocers buy from the least expensive seller. Sea Best would like to be the go-to brand for fresh (and frozen) seafood found on the perimeter of your grocery store.
